Who We Are The Armenian National Committee Professional Network (ANC-PN) is an association composed of Armenian American professionals living in the western United States. Beginning with nine original members, the ANC-PN has grown to hundreds of active members. ANC-PN members are brought together by heritage, social responsibility and a desire to expand the civic awareness and involvement of Armenian American professionals working in both the public and private sectors. The ANC-PN values excellence in education, professional pursuits and leadership skills. ANC-PN members achieve excellence through integrity, empowerment, diversity and continuous improvement - the skills and attributes needed to succeed in today's world. In an open and inviting atmosphere, the ANC-PN appeals to civic minded Armenian American professionals of all political persuasions who want to advance the Armenian cause. The ANC-PN is affiliated with the Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA). The Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) is the largest and most influential Armenian American grassroots political organization. Working in coordination with a network of offices, chapters and supporters throughout the United States and affiliated organizations around the world, the ANCA actively advances the concerns of the Armenian American community on a broad range of issues. Our Mission: Networking The mission of the ANC-PN is to develop the next generation of Armenian American leaders. Our vision is to encourage the emergence of an educated and politically active community of Armenian American professionals who participate at the local, state and federal decision-making levels to advance the Armenian cause. The ANC-PN seeks to accomplish its mission by offering educational and leadership development programs and services and social activities that promote the growth of participants as effective professionals and strong leaders. In the spirit of building coalitions, we seek to establish partnerships with other Armenian and non-Armenian organizations. Making Activism Fun and Interesting The ANC-PN provides a forum for activism. If you want to meet young professionals who share your enthusiasm for the Armenian cause, interact with members of Congress and state legislators who address Armenian issues, learn more about how to advance Genocide recognition, self-determination for the people of Karabagh, or just volunteer for a good cause, the ANC-PN is for you. Building Bridges The ANC-PN also serves as a bridge between university students and professionals, creating an environment conducive to networking. It provides opportunities such as internships, leadership workshops, interaction and exchange of ideas with elected officials, as well as participation in local community affairs. Charitable Activities The ANC Professional Network strongly believes in encouraging and organizing Armenian American professionals in giving something back to Armenian charities. Our charitable activities to date have included our Annual Christmas Mixer as well as other events which have raised funds for Armenian charities of all stripes.
