ANC-PN to Host Event for its Newly Established Young Professional Programs |
|
Glendale, California - The Armenian National Committee Professional Network is pleased to announce that it will host a distinctive networking event on Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at 7:00PM at Sidebar in Glendale. The event will be geared towards exploring new methods of bringing young Armenian professionals together and facilitating their collective development.
The networking event will serve as a catalyst to similar events in the future which will focus on the professional and cultural development of ANC-PN members and complement the various social gatherings of the ANC-PN.
The first of the evening's two objectives is to lay the groundwork for an ANC-PN Young Armenian Professionals Directory. The development of a comprehensive and concise reference tool for young Armenian professionals will, overtime, contain a compilation of contact information for young professionals. The Directory will allow various professionals from a host of highly specialized fields to interact seamlessly with one another.
To this aim, the ANC-PN encourages all young Armenian professionals to join us at Sidebar on June 21 and bring any business related materials such as personal and business cards and corporate brochures and literature so that they can be entered into the Young Armenian Professionals Directory of the ANC-PN.
Another highlight of the event will be the unveiling of the ANC-PN's "Professional Spotlight Program". The program will spotlight one young Armenian professional each month in the premiere Armenian daily newspaper, Asbarez, as well as on the ANC-PN website. This professional will be selected from a pool of submissions from ANC-PN members. Anyone wishing to nominate someone that fits the criteria set forth by the ANC-PN at the night of the event will be encouraged to do so. Nominations can also be submitted through our website at www.ancpn.com. Further details regarding this program will be discussed on June 21.
"It is truly astounding how highly accomplished our young Armenian professionals have become. Most are at the highest echelons of their respective fields," said Jeannine Topalian, President of the ANC-PN. "In planning this event and developing both the Professional Spotlight and the Young Armenian Professionals Directory programs, the ANC-PN hopes to create a conducive system that bridges any disconnects between our Armenian young professionals. There is an urgent need for this and the ANC-PN is prepared to lead that charge."
This event will be open to the public free of change. Complementary appetizers will be provided. For more information please call (818) 500-3500 or email us at info@ancpn.com.
