ANC-PN Calls For Nominations
For Its Professional Spotlight Program

GLENDALE, CA - The Armenian National Committee - Professional Network (ANC-PN) is pleased to announce that it will be accepting nominations for its recently launched Professional Spotlight Program.

The ANC-PN Professional Spotlight Program seeks to highlight the individual accomplishments of young Armenian professionals active in the Armenian community and orient the community about their successes in their respective fields. The program is in accordance with the ANC-PN's longstanding objective to encourage the emergence of educated and politically active Armenian American professionals.

Functionally, the Professional Spotlight Program will feature one young Armenian American professional each month in the Asbarez Daily Newspaper. This professional will be selected by the ANC-PN from a pool of submissions that are received via email. The various professional fields include, but are not limited to medicine, law, business, public service, education, science, the arts etc. Candidates must be of Armenian American origin and between the ages of 21 and 40 years old, active in the Armenian community, and have a unique and respectable professional standing within their respective profession for a substantive period of time.

Individuals who wish to nominate a friend or colleague that fits the criteria set forth above are encouraged to do so as soon as possible. A nomination requires a short biography of the nominee, along with a recent and presentable photo. The biography of the nominee should be approximately 100 to 200 words and must include standard elements such as date and place of birth, background, education, professional accomplishments and accolades, as well as a description of the nominee's community or civic involvement. Submissions should be sent to psp@ancpn.com or Armenian National Committee Professional Network, 104 N. Belmont Street, Suite 200, Glendale, California 91206.
