 GLENDALE–The Armenian National Committee’s Professional Network (ANC-PN) is a long-time supporter of the Armenian Relief Society orphans’ support programs in Armenia and Artsakh. On January 20, a group of the ANC-PN members, led by Sevag Demirjian, stopped by the Armenian Relief Society of Western U.S.A.’s (ARS) Regional Headquarters and met with Arousyak Melkonian, Regional Executive Vice-Chair, and Jasik Jarahian, General Manager (above) and handed them a check for $3,000. Part of the donation ($1,600) will cover the educational sponsorship for five orphans who are attending college, and the rest ($1,400) will pay for expenses at the ARS Sosse Kindergarten in the Ashan village of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh). The ARS appreciates the continued support of the ANC-PN for educational programs.
